FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK June 4, 2010

Crossroads Carnegie Art Center, 2020 Auburn
Opening reception, 5:30 to 8:00 pm, for Linda Elliott
of La Grande (oil paintings) and Scott Brown, Kevin Flynn
and Mandy Riley (staff, The Potter’s Center in Boise)
“Clay-One Medium, Three Visions”
The exhibit continues through June 29th. Refreshments
will be served.
Kevin Flynn of the Potter’s Center will be giving
a wheel throwing demonstration upstairs.
Downstairs in Student Gallery this month: Baker Head Start
students. Also, between 5:00 and 8:00pm First Friday is
the Bowl Building Bonanza downstairs in the pottery studio.
This is a free family event to help make ceramic bowls
for “Feed the Arts”. Instructors and supplies included.
Paizano’s Pizza will donate $1 for each bowl built.
The “Feed the Arts” project will culminate in
a buy-a-bowl-soup dinner in November, with all
proceeds benefiting the Crossroads Scholarship Fund.

live music by Larry Robb and Jerry Smith.

Friday, June 4th, Oregon Porsche Club on Washington, between Main and Resort.
Oooh and ahh over beautiful sports cars that come to rally in Historic Baker City and
visit with the drivers 4-7pm at the Geiser Café/Bar.

Sat., June 5th, Bruno Dunes Trio/Live Music: Jazz and favorite standards like “Desperado”
will have you swooning with your partner. Is it Pink Martini? Can this be local talent?
All ages welcome in the Swans Room.7-10pm

The Geiser Grand Gift Shop proudly features local artisans, and is open daily year round from 7am to 9pm. Complimentary shipping makes it easy to send gifts out of state.
